13' Regatta Bell Tent

13' Regatta Bell Tent

Took the 13’ out for elk hunting camp. Held up to sleet, snow, and freezing winds with no issues. Used it with a wood stove and it was toasty inside while outside dropped below 20°F.

18 oz. 100% Cotton Canvas Tarp

18 oz. 100% Cotton Canvas Tarp

Bought this tarp for my hunting trips. It doubles as a cover for gear and as a quick shelter when the weather turns. In freezing rain, it didn’t stiffen or crack like synthetics do. That reliability makes it well worth packing, even though it’s heavier.

12'x14' Alpha Wall Tent

12'x14' Alpha Wall Tent

I’ve been using the 14x16 wall tent for two back-to-back elk seasons in Montana. The setup takes a little muscle, but once it’s up, it’s rock solid. We had two days of nonstop snow and the tent held strong without any sagging. Inside, with the stove going, it felt like a cabin in the middle of nowhere. My hunting buddies keep saying they’ll switch to White Duck next year because they saw how much more comfortable my setup was compared to theirs. Worth every penny.

12'x14' Alpha Wall Tent

12'x14' Alpha Wall Tent

I’ve used many wall tents over the years, but this White Duck version is by far the best value for the quality. Everything is included—poles, floor, guy lines—and it all fits perfectly together. No need to buy extras or jury-rig solutions. During a thunderstorm, I expected to see some leakage, but the inside stayed bone dry. I’ll be recommending these to all the guys in our hunting camp.

Alpha Pro Wall Tent

Winter hunting trip—we fired up the tent stove inside the silicone-coated stove jack and stayed warm all night. The thermal benefits of this canvas shell are real.

FAQ'S

What size hunting tent do I need for solo or group hunting trips?
+
Choosing size depends on group size, cots vs. pads, a wood stove, and how much gear you’ll store inside.

Solo or duo, mobile hunts:
Alpha Wall Tent 8’×10’ (about 80 sq ft): compact base camp with room for 1 hunter + stove + gear, or 2 on pads. A great all season hunting shelter when you want strength with a smaller footprint.

Regatta Bell Tent 10 ft (≈ 79 sq ft): fast pitch and roomy center height. Ideal for 1–2 hunters who want quick set up and a cozier base.

2–3 hunters with gear:
- Alpha Wall Tent 10’×12’ (120 sq ft) or Regatta Bell Tent 13 ft (≈ 133 sq ft). These add sleeping and walk around space so you can run a stove and still keep aisles clear.

3–5 hunters or longer trips:
- Alpha Wall Tent 12’×14’ (168 sq ft): popular hunting size. Room for 3–4 cots + stove + gear with good circulation. The product capacity allows more on pads, but for hunting comfort, plan for fewer.

What design features should I look for in a reliable hunting tent?
+
A dependable hunting shelter should balance weather protection, heat management, and day to day usability. White Duck tents are built with these needs in mind:

Breathable, treated canvas: DYNADUCK and DYNATEK performance canvas options with water repellent, UV and mold resistant finish for comfort across seasons, as well as optional flame-retardant treatment.
Stove ready out of the box: Pre installed, heat resistant stove jacks so you can run a safe hot tent setup for late season hunts.
Serious frames & hardware: Anodized aluminum frames on Alpha Wall Tents and galvanized steel pole sets on bell tents resist harsh conditions. Angles, stakes, tensioners and a toolkit are included.
Flooring built for camp life: Alpha Wall Tent includes a free floating 16 oz PVC groundsheet for easy cleaning. Regatta Bell Tent has a sewn in PE groundsheet to keep critters out.
Weather smart details: Storm doors/windows, no see um mesh, peak vents and proprietary shock absorbing guy systems/bungees keep the tent stable and ventilated in shifting weather.

These features make setup simpler, control condensation, and keep interiors livable for multi day hunts.
Can I use a canvas hunting tent during rainy hunting seasons?
+
Yes. White Duck’s canvas is tightly woven and treated for water repellency, plus UV and mold resistance. When the tent is pitched tight and guyed out, the canvas sheds rain while still breathing, which helps reduce condensation. For sustained wet weather:
 • Pitch tight with all guys and stake points; use the optional rain flys if you expect multi-day rain.
Run the stove to drive out moisture during long, wet spells, and crack vents to keep air moving.
Protect high traffic areas with an extra footprint to keep mud under control.

Used this way, canvas is a proven performer in rainy, shoulder season hunts.
How long does it take to set up a canvas hunting tent?
+
Setup times depend on size and your familiarity, but they’re straightforward with the included frames and toolkits.

Bell tents (Regatta/Avalon): Expect about 10–20 minutes once you’ve done it once or twice. One person can pitch them quickly: stake the floor, place the poles, tension the guys.
Wall tents (Alpha): Plan on ~20–35 minutes with two people for common hunting sizes. The first pitch can take a little longer as you learn the frame, but it speeds up fast. Assemble the frame, pull the canvas over the top, place all foot poles, stake all the ropes.

Packing down is usually faster than the first setup. Keep poles bundled by length and store stakes and guy lines in labeled toolkits.
What makes White Duck Outdoors hunting tents different from other brands?
+
White Duck focuses on durability, completeness, sustainability, and user driven design:

 • Materials that last: Proprietary performance canvas with a weightless finish. Reinforced corners and double stitched seams add strength.
Complete kits, fewer add ons: Poles, angle kits/frames, stove jacks, bug mesh, pockets and groundsheets are included, so you’re “outdoors ready” right out of the box.
Strong, reliable structures: Anodized aluminum wall tent frames and galvanized steel bell tent poles with shock absorbing guy systems hold up in rough weather.
Customer experience: Fast, free shipping in the US & Canada, responsive support and the White Duck Warranty back up the gear. In short, you get workhorse canvas shelters with the right hunting features standard, not as costly add ons.
